Monsoon in Rohingya Camps: Emergency Response

The monsoon season in this region runs from May to September, with most acute conditions for two months from mid-June, bringing risks of flooding, landslides and wind. The effect of the weather is multiplied by building restrictions in the camps, which mean that shelters must be basis and temporary, so they are extremely vulnerable to inclement weather.
