Green Skills Development Projects in Camp focuses on enhancing food security and nutrition among Rohingya refugees through innovative, climate-smart gardening practices. Implemented across five camps, the initiative targets 6,000 households to develop green skills via homestead gardening, hydroponics, mushroom cultivation, and Kitchen waste composting. By promoting vertical and sack gardening, the project addresses space and water constraints while improving dietary diversity and micronutrient intake. Community-managed hydroponic sites, green skill centers, and cooking demonstrations will foster knowledge transfer and behavioral change. Training sessions and Coaching approach through Cash for work will empower participants and volunteers, ensuring sustainability and self-reliance. These interventions aim to reduce dependency on external aid, strengthen resilience, and promote environmental benefits such as soil stabilization and erosion control. Gender and protection strategies are integrated to ensure inclusive participation, particularly for women and vulnerable groups, contributing to social cohesion and long-term resilience in the camps.
